Vegan Corn Bread

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

VEGAN CORN BREAD

2 1/3 cups all purpose flour

1 cup cornmeal

4 ½ tsp. Baking powder

1 cup sugar (if using brown sugar, do not pack)

2/3 cup margarine

1 2/3 milk (we used Rice Dream original flavor)

3 eggs (we used egg replacer according to package directions)

1 tsp. salt

 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix dry ingredients. Cream margarine & sugar. Mix milk & eggs, fold into cramed mixture. Gently add flour mixture. Pour into greased 9x13 baking dish and bake till toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, about 30 minutes.
